Communities
St. Mark's Church runs and supports several community groups.
Refurbishment of St Mark's
St Marks have undergone a few recent changes after our refurbishment project;
We installed a kitchen, disabled toilet facilities and created an open area for chairs and tables at the rear of Church for everyone to chat and enjoy refreshments.
The Church is open to all on Tuesday Mornings between 11.00.am and 12.30.pm, and on a Friday Morning between 10.00.am. and 12. Noon.
Please do come along and enjoy a chat and drink or just soak up the peace and tranquillity of the building.
In the future we hope to start a Luncheon Club and have representatives from various organisations such as 'Help the Aged' available for general information.
Ladies Circle
St Marks also has a thriving 'Ladies Circle' which meets every first Thursday in each month in the Parish Hall at 1.15.pm.
They have Speakers and enjoy Trips out together as well as many other activities.
All are most welcome to just come along.
Parish Hall
We are fortunate in having our own Parish Hall with Kitchen, Disabled Access and Facilities which is well used by community groups, such as;
Mixed Martial Arts Group, Tuesday and Friday 6.30pm.
Little Nippers Club, ages 5-11 year olds Tuesdays and Thursday 4.30pm - 6.00pm.
Complete Kidz, Albion Foundation, 11+ Wednesday 7.30pm.
The Parish Hall is also available for private functions such as Children's Birthday Party's, Social Evenings and much more.
